"White Medicine Woman"

Time Marches On

 Eventually Frank would settle

       In another country

He headed north to Canada

Where a farmer he would be

Fort Frances was just across the border

       Not far from International Falls

A little bit north and a wee bit west

Yet far from the closing-in walls

Before he headed off to war

Lorne built himself a log house

It was all of 16 by 20 feet

Barely big enough for a mouse

So it was that his father moved in

       While Larry was away

But it didn’t matter much

Larry didn’t really want it anyway
