"White Medicine Woman"

A Christian Burial

Captured in peaceful prairie time

       Is Rebecca’s final resting place

Where a sentinel of Black Hills colored rock

       Watches over her old homestead place

You see Rebecca was never lost

       A hundred years later, alas

Her family would find her nestled

       In her beloved prairie grass
