"White Medicine Woman" Back to Illinois |
Frank did not want to go back Yet, he was unsure how to raise the boys Or if he was able to do so So, he took them back to Illinois A hundred years ago it wasn’t proper To raise kids without a woman by your side So, my great-grandpa headed back East After his beloved Rebecca died
They packed up and headed for town Where they would catch the train Stopping at the gravesite to say goodbye Some would never be back again Frank did his best to get the boys To where they would receive care Both his family and Rebecca’s sisters Stepped in and helped out there
